Why is your attendance at this fundraising dinner so important?
Our pueblo is at a critical juncture. Money raised at the dinner will make Sayulita a safer and healthier place to live and visit by funding the following projects:
Save Sayulita 2020
We are in the process of opposing the proposed IMPLAN that would dramatically increase density in Sayulita. The proposal includes 8-9 story buildings on the beach front, with 7 stories along parts of Revolucion and the 200 Hwy.
We are working with other villages. We have hired a very successful, well connected and high powered environmental lawyer to help us with our project.Your participation and donations will help us to a successful conclusion that will protect our Pueblo.
Trash and recycling
Our new depot will recycle cardboard, glass, plastic, and aluminum cans and will reduce the amount of trash in Sayulita.
Public Safety
ProSayulita pays the annual rent and utilities for the offices used by essential public safety services - police, fire, ambulance, and ministerio publico - based here in Sayulita.
Sayuita Animals
ProSayulita pays the annual rent for Sayulita Animal's clinic. This group reduces the number of homeless and uncared-for animals that otherwise would roam the streets by operating many clinics during the year.
Traffic Wardens
ProSayulita supports extra traffic wardens during peak times.
Public Schools
ProSayulita supports both the primaria and the secundaria to promote learning in a healthy environment.
